Vacation 2014, Santee State Park, Santee, SC

Santee State Park is located on the shores of Lake Marion. The park is a fisherman's paradise with two campgrounds, fishing piers, boat docks and several cabins with some that are right the shores of Lake Marion. Lake Marion is a great place to cool down on a hot summer day with a beach to enjoy the cool waters. There are plenty of biking opportunities as well with trails that go through the woods for those who like to mountain bike. Bird life is abundant with Blue Jays, Cardinals, Osprey's and Red Headed Wood Peckers flying about.  Santee State Park is a great place to relax and enjoy it's natural lakeside setting next to beautiful Lake Marion.
